Supports the day-to-day operations of the organization’s IT systems. This role provides technical assistance to staff, maintains hardware and software, and ensures the smooth functioning of the IT environment. Assist in managing the installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software programs. Maintain, repair and upgrade network/data systems. Provide end-user support services. Have knowledge of Windows PC/Macintosh hardware/software. Ability to work well with people and possess intense enthusiasm and desire to learn.
· Provide first-level technical support to employees (hardware, software, network issues).
· Troubleshoot and resolve computer, printer, and peripheral issues.
· Assist with installation and configuration of software applications.
· Set up new computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
· Assist in managing inventory of IT hardware and accessories.
· Assist in monitoring network performance and connectivity.
· Support in maintaining user accounts, passwords, and access rights (e.g., Active Directory).
· Help with system updates, patching, and antivirus monitoring.
· Maintain records of IT assets, repairs, and troubleshooting steps.
· Assist in documenting IT procedures and user guides.
· Support IT staff in system upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts.
· Help with backup and data recovery tasks as needed.
· Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
· Other duties as deemed appropriate by management.
· Diploma or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
· Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
· Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
· PTO starts at 52 hours with increases after 2 years. Additional details will be provided once employment begins.
