General Manager of Production

Job Summary:

The General Manager of Production will plan and oversee the daily operations of the production team to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.

General Manager of Production Responsibilities:

- Organize and oversee the production of metal roofing

- Organize the loading and shipping of transports

- Control inventory through tracking and proper handling

- Manage a team of 20 production technicians

- Coordinates with other support departments such as Human Resources, and the General Manager of Operations

- Ensure facility inspections, preventative maintenance plans are utilized

- Standard operating procedures – provide input and ensure execution of SOP’s

- Ensure training standards are designed and implemented

- Developing and implementing strategies to keep employees motivated and dedicated

- Health & safety mindset

Required Skills & Abilities:

- Excellent managerial and supervisory skills

- Extensive knowledge of operations and production management of metal

- Problem-solving skills

- Written and oral communication skills

- Ability to identify opportunities of efficiency

Education & Experience:

- Five years of related experience required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
