The Production Manager is responsible for all areas of production, safety and EPA. Responsibility for achievement of high quality, low cost, safety and on-time performance goals and development of advanced methods and techniques to increase productivity. This is a very fast paced environment.

- Oversees all production aspects of the company
- Assist in maintaining all approvals/audits including customer, AS9100 and Nadcap
- Oversees all training related to production-safety
- Oversees all production planning, allocation of material to maintain lead times
- Oversees scheduling all jobs
- Reviews all work orders
- Manages all production personnel
- Oversees maintenance/facilities
- Assist in dispositions of NCR’s, CPPAR’s
- Participates in all production meetings
- Performs inspections
- Performs other duties as assigned by Management
- Ability to read and comprehend specifications
- Ability to complete production reports
- Ability to manage personnel for maximum production
- Ability to use tape measure and calipers
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and fractions
- Accurately measure using 1/8 and 1/16
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Metallurgical Degree/Aluminum a plus
- Engineering background preferred
- Studies in Business a plus
- Must have direct experience in Aluminum Open Die Handforgings
- 5-10 years management experience
While performing normal duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands frequently. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception to read instruments and identify plant color code system. WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and extreme heat.
