- Work with and on behalf of the Operations Manager to align operational strategies with long-term goals.
- Execute warehouse and production schedules to meet customer and business demands.
- Optimize workflow inter-departmentally through implementation of lean methodologies such as 5S.
- Lead, mentor and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement for a team of 20 -30 employees, within a unionized environment.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation.
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience (industrial fabrication preferred).
- Experience managing within a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreement administration.
- Proven experience implementing Lean manufacturing systems.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication, welding, and industrial assembly processes.
- Demonstrated ability to balance operational performance with labour compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
