Fabricator/Welder

One Trip Dolly is a family-owned company building heavy-duty electric dollies and carts for real-world work. Everything we build is designed to last, perform, and help our customers move more. We do all fabrication and powder coating in-house.

Job Overview:

We’re looking for a Welder/Fabricator who can take raw material and turn it into a finished product. This is a hands-on role—cutting, fitting, welding, and helping build our equipment from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

- MIG weld mild steel (clean welds that look good and hold up)

- Read and work from prints, drawings, or cut lists

- Cut, grind, fit, and prep parts for welding

- Operate shop equipment (band saw, CNC plasma, press brake, etc.)

- Assist with assembly of dollies and carts

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

- Work with the team to improve builds and efficiency

Requirements:

- Welding experience (MIG required, TIG is a plus)

- Ability to read a tape measure and basic prints

- Strong attention to detail

- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet

- Shows up on time and ready to work

- Takes pride in building quality products

Preferred (Not Required):

- Experience with fabrication and layout work

- CNC plasma or press brake experience

- Powder coating knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

- Metal fabrication: 1 year (Preferred)
