Fabricator/Welder

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our growing team in the commercial door and frame industry. In this role, you will fabricate and weld metal components used in door frames and related structures. This position requires precision, efficiency, and a strong commitment to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

- Fabricate and weld metal components including door frames, hinges, and thresholds

- Measure, cut, and prepare materials with accuracy

- Operate MIG welding equipment to assemble components

- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company and customer standards

- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper functionality

- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a welder/fabricator (commercial door/frame industry preferred)

- Proficiency in MIG welding

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Experience working with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training/certification preferred)

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and assist with team lifts up to 100 lbs

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods

- Comfortable working in environments with heat, fumes, and airborne particles

- Must wear required PPE including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection, and welding gear
