Midwest Steel & Aluminum is a privately held metal service center located in Rogers, we have been in business for over 60 years. We cut and process metal products and distribute metal all over the United States.
As a Customer Service Representative at Midwest Steel & Aluminum, you are responsible for accurately quoting materials we have available for sale. You will also be accurately entering customer orders as per their PO and our company policies. You are expected to provide the customer with professional, friendly, and helpful service in a timely manner via the phone or email. The customer service representative is expected to support all goals relating to sales and to conduct him/herself in a professional manner at all times.
- Provide consistent, superior service by ensuring that all customer needs are recognized and serviced.
- Willingness to learn about our products in order to provide accurate information about them to customers.
- Responding quickly to customer requests and entering quotes for requested materials.
- Friendly and professional communication with our suppliers and mills for material quoting purposes
- Entering customer orders into our steel based software
- Evaluating sales orders for accuracy after completion
- Processing payments
- Filing
- Administrative duties as assigned supporting the office responsibilities

- Computer literacy (MS Outlook, website usage, etc...)
- Exceptional active listening, communication and customer services skills

Hours are Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am-4:30pm.
