About This Job


ABOUT THE POSITION

The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Departmental Systems Coordinator (Server Administrator) position. This position will be primarily responsible for:

Installing, configuring, and maintaining VMWare virtual environments, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting issues.

Configuring and maintaining network storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability while monitoring storage capacity.
Managing backup solutions, scheduling regular backups, verifying integrity, and executing recovery procedures.
Administering Microsoft 365 services, managing users, allocating licenses, and troubleshooting any issues.
Implementing security measures, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and ensuring adherence to District security standards.
Continuously monitoring system performance, tracking metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing resource utilization.

Education and Experience:


Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field AND two (2) years of full-time professional level experience in systems analysis and personal or mini-computer hardware and software acquisition in a departmental or similar environment. Additional experience as outlined above may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis.

Licensing and Certification: Specified positions may require a valid Nevada Class C Driver's License at time of appointment depending upon the department assigned and the number of work sites for which the individual is responsible.


Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Periodically after employment background investigations may be conducted


Pre-Employment Drug Testing: Employment is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug examination.
