We are recruiting for either a level 2 or level 3 Systems Admin Engineer. The successful candidate(s) will be placed at the appropriate level depending on skills, abilities, and qualifications.
The Systems Administration Engineer II manages servers, workstations, storage, cloud infrastructure, operating systems, and applications. This position is accountable for implementation of new systems, maintenance of existing systems including any necessary system enhancements, and their decommissioning. This role will assist with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of critical infrastructure and security related issues that impact business operations. This position safeguards the recoverability, performance, compliance, and security of District infrastructure and is key to ensuring that the information systems necessary to fulfill the District's mission are highly available.
System Engineer II: $114, 420 - $143,025 Annually
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field,
AND
- Two (2) years of related Information Technology experience;
- Six (6) years of directly related Information Technology experience.
System Engineer III: $143,528 - $179,410 Annually
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field,
AND
- Four (4) years of related Information Technology experience;
- Eight (8) years of directly related Information Technology experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
