We are seeking a customer-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to serve as a key point of contact for our customers. In this role, the CSR will act as a liaison by providing accurate product and service information, addressing inquiries, and resolving customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
The ideal candidate is genuinely enthusiastic about helping others and brings patience, empathy, and strong communication skills to every interaction. Successful CSRs are attentive listeners who can place themselves in the customer’s position, advocate on their behalf when appropriate, and use feedback as a valuable tool to improve the customer experience.
This position requires confidence in problem-solving and troubleshooting. When challenges arise, the CSR is expected to investigate thoroughly, ask thoughtful questions, and collaborate as needed to achieve effective resolutions. The overall goal of this role is to deliver excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer needs, and consistently maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer information and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
