The Opportunity

As a valued member of our dedicated Customer Relations Team, you will play a key role in our Contact Centre, handling inbound calls, emails, and webchat interactions. You have a genuine passion for working with people and providing them with quality customer service experience across multiple communication channels. Using your excellent communication skills, you will guide customers through their service journey at Newfoundland Power, including:

- Assisting customers in obtaining electricity services

- Resolving customer inquiries via phone, email, and webchat

- Managing challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy

- Negotiating payment plans

- Providing energy efficiency advice

- Promoting customer programs

What You Bring

Your qualifications include:

- Completion of a Degree or a 3-year Diploma

- A minimum of 3 years of Customer Service experience, preferably in a call centre environment

You are a highly motivated team player with a strong commitment to safety and customer service. You have an excellent work ethic, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while managing a high volume of customer interactions. Your ability to listen actively, show empathy, and navigate difficult conversations with a solutions-focused approach will help ensure a positive experience for our customers.

Compensation: Per the current Collective Agreement

Duration: Temporary (April 2026 to September 2026) with the possibility of extension

Work-from-home: Hybrid work¿from¿home options are available after the successful completion of a six¿month probationary period.

Locations considered: Burin, Carbonear, Clarenville, Gander,Grand Falls-Windsor, Stephenville, and St. John's (Duffy Place)
