Edge Manufacturing, Inc. is a growing cutting tool manufacturer headquartered in Pevely, Missouri with locations worldwide. Edge has produced quality band saw blades for the food processing and lumber industry for over 30 years

POSITION SUMMARY:

Edge Manufacturing is seeking a Customer Service/Accounts Receivable person for the accounting department in a manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Complete full cycle order process for select international and subsidiary customers (enter order in ERP system, prepare shipping documents, invoice customer)

· Act as liaison with shipping brokers, forwarders, container companies, and LTL carriers for international shipments.

· Prepare documents for select international and subsidiary shipping

· Respond to customer inquiries and concerns

· Correspond with customers and sales personnel via email and phone

· Participate in weekly Teams calls

· Follow-up on pending issues

· Backup other Customer Service personnel as needed

· Post all payments to customer accounts including ACH, wire transfer, credit card and check.

· Monitor Accounts Receivable aging report and contact customers with past due invoices

· Send customer statements upon request

· Greet visitors

· Answering incoming calls

· Sort daily mail

· Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· 1 to 2 years of customer service required

· Accounts Receivable/Collections experience preferred

· Strong attention to detail

· High degree of accuracy

· Excellent organizational skills

· Ability to effectively communicate with customers

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

· Bilingual in Spanish a plus
