Accounts Receivable Specialist

Top-Shelf Fixtures, LLC is a company that manufactures display fixtures, shelving, racks, etc. for the retail industry including grocery chains, convenience stores and major retailers. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records and assist the Controller in various accounting tasks including GL and trial balance entries.

Responsibilities

- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including invoicing, and general ledger entries, collections etc.

- Reconcile bank statements and perform general ledger account reconciliations

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

- Support the accounting team in various administrative tasks as needed

Skills

- Proficient in 10 key typing for accurate data entry

- Experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems

- Strong understanding of Accounting Principles

- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation and analysis

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
