Position Summary

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment within our data center facility. This role supports daily operations by ensuring all assigned areas meet cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards appropriate for a secure, mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning of offices, hallways, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain flooring surfaces

Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste properly

Clean and sanitize restrooms and restock supplies

Dust and wipe surfaces, fixtures, and furniture in approved areas

Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and safety guidelines

Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment

Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to Facilities Management

Maintain cleanliness standards consistent with data center operational and security requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Prior custodial or general cleaning experience preferred

Ability to work independently and follow written instructions

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and pushing carts

Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Must successfully pass a background check

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Environment

Indoor, climate-controlled facility

Secure data center environment

Day shift, Monday through Friday
