The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. The Custodian will ensure that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for employees and visitors alike.

Skills/Requirements:

- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required.

- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.

- Knowledge of floor care practices, including buffing and maintenance.

- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

- A positive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job duties:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.

- Maintain floors through buffing and polishing to ensure a clean and professional appearance.

- Conduct industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to keep the environment functional and safe.

- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.

- Monitor cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
