Custodian

POSITION SUMMARY

Custodial is responsible for, but not limited to maintaining the cleanliness of the Facility.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

This is a comprehensive list, but not limited to:

Clean offices

Mop floors

Vacuum carpeted areas

Wash and disinfect all washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats and fixtures

Replenish toilet tissue and soap as needed

Empty all waste baskets and garbage cans

Place garbage in outside storage

Perform other related duties as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

- Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment

- Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System

- Ability to read and understand labels and instructions particularly on the use and application of cleaning chemicals and products

- Effective verbal and listening communications skills

- Time Management Skills

- Ability to work with little or no supervision

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are preferred

- Willingness to work mandatory overtime

- Employees are expected to work productively and safely
