What you will be doing
Corporate Facilities Maintenance
- Clean and adequately supply all assigned restrooms daily
- Sweep, mop, and buff all tile floors to established standards, per established schedule
- Vacuum carpet daily and clean spots as necessary
- Strip and re-wax all tile floors to established standards as scheduled
- Clean all inside window surfaces in assigned areas weekly and outside surfaces as directed
- Empty all assigned trash cans daily and replace liners as required
- Pick up and remove all paper, trash, and other debris from entries and sidewalks at least every other day
- Close and lock all doors and gates in assigned areas daily
- Open and unlock all doors and gates in assigned areas and at assigned times daily
- Immediately report all actual and possible security violations
- Operate tools and equipment according to established procedures
- Inspect, service, and maintain assigned tools and equipment daily
- Perform routine repairs as necessary
- Advise immediate supervisor of maintenance needs on tools and equipment
- Complete all necessary forms, reports, records, and information
- Assist in handling emergencies and outages as directed
- Assist in preparation of corporate facilities for annual meetings
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE H igh School
diploma or equivalent
Minimum
one year experience as a custodian, janitor, or equivalent in an office building office cleaning experience
Knowledge
and skill in the use of cleaning equipment and supplies
SKILLS Ability
to become proficient in the use and care of building maintenance tools and equipment
Ability
to perform assigned tasks without direct supervision
Possess
valid Georgia driver’s license
