Camp Attendant/Housekeeper

JOB LOCATIONS IN ALBERTA AND NORTHERN BC

We are looking for an experienced Remote Camp Attendant to join our team. This is a 4 weeks on 2 weeks off schedule. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the premises of our facility, including floors, walls, windows, furniture, and equipment. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Knowledge of janitorial cleaning procedures, chemicals & products required.

- Knowledge required in the use of janitorial equipment such as floor scrubbers, polishers, vaccum cleaners etc.

- Related experience in camp setting or hotel/institutional environment preferred; commercial cleaning is considered an asset

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and other areas.

- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.

- Empty trash cans and recycle bins.

- Clean windows and mirrors.

- Dust furniture and fixtures.

- Maintain janitorial supplies.

- Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.

- Ability to prioritize multiple demands and organize a work schedule.

- Strong customer service focus and ability to maintain a positive attitude.

- Ability and desire to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player

- Literate in English language with reading and writing competency

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with others

- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) certification

- Other tasks that the supervisor may assign from time to time.
