The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Yard Services Attendant provides hands on activities as they pertain to yard operations.
Responsibilities:
- Fill propane cylinders
- Pick up and deliver cylinders for weekly propane customers
- Receive and put away oil deliveries
- Clean and organize the warehouse and outbuildings
- Clean cardlock area
- Cut grass/shovel snow
- Assemble barbecues
- Closing of store and yard
- Attend monthly staff meetings
- Other job-related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to pass pre-employment testing
- Good time management skills
- Able to work well with others as well as unsupervised
- Safety Oriented
- Ability to work extra hours as required including weekends if necessary
- Product knowledge (Propane cylinders & fittings)
- Forklift training would be an asset
- Valid driver’s license
