YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Camp Manager, you will be part of the Camp Services Department. You will be responsible for daily camp operations in accordance with approved company policies and procedures. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

- Supervising and directing daily operations of the Detour Lake Mine lodges;

- Communicating and coordinating with the Camp Services travel team, Cochrane Bus Terminal, Security, vendors, contractors, housekeeping, janitorial, snow removal, water bottling and distributions accommodations, and kitchen departments in relation to Camp requirements;

- Monitor accommodations, house-keeping, travel, and kitchen departments based on operational requirements;

- Responsible for Front Desk activities and software requirements/usage;

- Ensuring proper travel and accommodation policy and procedures are followed when arriving and departing the Detour Lake Mine site;

- Fielding and processing complaints/complaints/concerns/requests as submitted by employees, ensuring the camp kitchen, accommodations and housekeeping standards are met and maintained.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

- Diploma or Degree or equivalent client centered service experience, travel and tourism experience is considered an asset;

- 3-5 years’ work experience within the mining sector;

- Accommodation software knowledge;

- SAP knowledge is considered an asset;

- Experience working at a remote camp;

- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Your Work Schedule:

- Schedule: 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;

- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.

Compensation Statement

In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
