Reporting to the Camp Supervisor, you will be part of the Camp Services Department. You will be responsible for supporting daily camp operations in accordance with approved company policies and procedures. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

- Supporting daily camp services operations of the Detour Lake Mine lodges;

- Audit accommodations, house-keeping, front desk, and kitchen departments based on operational requirements;

- Provide support and change management for Front Desk activities and software requirements/usage;

- Bus marshalling duties following proper travel and accommodation policy and procedures as guests arrive and depart the Detour Lake Mine site;

- Support processing complaints/complaints/concerns/requests as submitted by employees, ensuring the camp kitchen, accommodations and housekeeping standards are met and maintained;

- Attend Camp Services meetings, submit minutes, compile and edit reports (daily, weekly, monthly);

- Processing departmental service billing, invoices and SAP purchase requisitions.

What You Need To Succeed

- High School Diploma;

- Post Secondary in Administration or Business Course;

- Client-centered service experience, travel and tourism experience is considered an asset;

- 5 years’ work experience in commensurate administrative role;

- Team player with focus on deliverable outcomes;

- Accommodation software knowledge;

- SAP or JD Edwards knowledge is considered an asset;

- Experience working at a remote camp;

- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Your Work Schedule

- Schedule: 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;

- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
