I. Position Description
Reporting to the Planner/Schedule, the employee assesses and compares inventories or computes quantities from records such as purchase order and packing lists to obtain current inventory count(s). Information is compiled on receipt(s) or disbursement(s) of material, equipment, and inventory count(s) are managed. Data is inputted to CMMS system via barcode scanner and keyboarding. Ships and receives material and parts, sometimes with a forklift.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Generates weekly PMs from Infor.
- Verifies labor hours, material issue, and contractor cost are charged to work orders.
- Records unplanned maintenance work in Infor.
- Assist Planner/Scheduler in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance work schedule.
- Runs daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports as necessary for maintenance and plant performance.
- Complies with all environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Excellent mathematical, English, communication, and writing skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer literate with experience on Microsoft Office products, and SAP (a plus)
- Knowledge or experience with Computer Maintenance Management System(s) is a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to extreme heat. The employee occasionally works in high precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in some areas of the work environment requires ear protection. Employee must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
