Account Manager

ABOUT US W.E. Lott Company is a premier global importer and distributor of high-performance forgings and castings. Since 1957, we have served as a vital link in the global supply chain, providing turn-key solutions to the Railroad, Construction, and Military industries. We are seeking a seasoned Account Manager to join our Bucyrus headquarters, acting as the mission-critical link between our global supply chain, warehouse, and Tier-1 industrial customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Customer Relations: Serve as the first line of contact for inquiries regarding orders, shipments, product availability, and pricing.

- Inventory & Production Control: Synchronize with customers, vendors, and sales to forecast demand, set production schedules, and ensure Just-In-Time (JIT) deliveries.

- Financial Integrity: Manage purchasing and invoicing workflows to ensure cost structures and billing are 100% accurate.

THE IDEAL PROFESSIONAL

- Experience: 2+ years in Account Management, Customer Service, and/or Purchasing specifically within Manufacturing, Purchasing, or Distribution.

- Knowledge Assets: Knowledge of tariffs, importing, and shipping is considered a strong plus.

- Computer Skills: High proficiency in Sage 50 (or similar ERP/Accounting software) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data management).

- Communication: Must be able to write clear, professional, and effective emails. You should be able to explain complex issues and provide updates to customers and suppliers clearly, concisely, and in a way that is easy to understand.

- The Mindset: An individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is eager to learn new skills, and possesses a stable work history that proves loyalty and reliability.
