Position

Superintendent, Warehouse, Nunavut

Location and Reporting Structure

Reporting to the Manager, Supply Chain, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.

Responsibilities

- Oversee warehouse operations and personnel across Back River sites, ensuring efficient coordination, secure storage, and compliance with documentation standards.

- Develop and maintain warehouse policies, procedures, and training materials; ensure staff are properly trained and performance is regularly evaluated.

- Lead inventory control activities including cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, stock optimization, and expired material management.

- Monitor and report on warehouse KPIs, budgets, and cost-saving opportunities; participate in budget planning and ensure expenses remain within targets.

- Coordinate with procurement, transportation, and operations teams to align inventory levels with demand, optimize logistics, and maintain accurate records.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements; identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Desired Competencies and Requirements

- Seven (7) years of relevant warehouse experience with three (3) years of previous supervisory experience, with preference will be given to those with experience working in a remote site with limited access to resources.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management; or a Parts / Material Technician Journeyperson credential.

- Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP), Certified in Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), or equivalent designation required.

- Advance End User knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project are required).

Compensation and Benefits

For informational purposes, the annual salary for this role is $170,000.00.
