Scale House Administrator

21st Century Concrete is a 5th generation family-owned construction material supply company that has been in the industry for over 100 years. In this position you will serve as the first point of contact for customers. Must have excellent customer service skills. This job requires a person who is comfortable in a self-directed, multi-faceted role with a high degree of interaction with customers, truck drivers, other site employees, and subcontractors.

Overtime rates are paid after 40 hours.

Requirements:

- Strong interpersonal skills, Detail oriented, Ability to multitask

- Team player

- Bookkeeping and math skills

- Strong Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)

- Bonus if you have worked with ticketing software

- Strong communication skills

- Experience with and/or knowledge of aggregate

Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor scales to weigh inbound and outbound loads accurately

- Process customer transactions

- Answer phone calls

- Interface with customers for quotes, order reception and scheduling

- Dispatch trucks, create daily truck schedule

- Review and correct computer generated reports for accuracy

- Maintain detailed records, including tickets, inventory reports, and financial documentation

- Perform general office duties such as data entry, report generation, and correspondence

- Fuel ordering and end of month billing

- Enter jobs orders and efficiently dispatch trucks to those jobs

- Some bank and post office/UPS interaction

- Miscellaneous truck fleet paperwork

- Assistance with concrete dispatching

- Oversight of satellite scale houses

- Following all safety standards as per company and MSHA policies.
