The Inside Sales & Scale House Coordinator is a hybrid role combining customer service, inside sales, dispatching, and scale house operations. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers and drivers while supporting sales growth, scheduling, and accurate material tracking.
- Serve as primary contact for customers, drivers, and subcontractors
- Provide quotes, receive orders, and assist with scheduling and dispatch
- Operate scales and process inbound/outbound material tickets
- Dispatch trucks and manage daily hauling schedules
- Support inside sales efforts with account management and soft selling
- Enter and maintain orders, tickets, and customer data in CRM/ticketing systems
- Review reports for accuracy and maintain detailed operational records
- Assist with billing, fuel ordering, and general office administration
- Follow all company safety standards and MSHA policies
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM or ticketing software experience preferred
- Basic math and record-keeping skills
- Experience in aggregates, construction materials, dispatch, or inside sales preferred
