Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mid-Level System Administrator to manage hybrid Azure environments, Microsoft Intune, Windows Server (2016-2022), Hyper-V, and VMware virtualization platforms. The ideal candidate will maintain and optimize servers, workstations, and cloud resources while providing end-user hardware and software support.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide desktop, printer, and end-user hardware/software support; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure reliable IT support across all devices.

- Manage, configure, and patch Microsoft Windows Server (2016-2022), Windows 11, iOS, iPadOS, and Android devices.

- Deploy and administer virtual machines using Hyper-V and VMware.

- Configure and manage devices and applications via Microsoft Intune.

- Monitor system performance and implement solutions to maintain high availability and reliability.

- Assist with integration of on-premises infrastructure with Azure cloud services.

- Administer the help desk ticketing system; track, prioritize, and resolve requests efficiently.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical challenges.

- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for compliance and knowledge sharing.

- Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in system administration and cloud computing.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 3-5 years of system administration experience, focusing on Azure hybrid environments and Windows Server (2016-2022).

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.

- Knowledge of Hyper-V and VMware virtualization.

- Strong understanding of Active Directory, networking fundamentals, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.

- Experience managing Windows 11, iOS, iPadOS, and Android devices.

- Proficiency in Microsoft patch management and software updates.

- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Skills

- Relevant certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or VMware Certified Professional.

- Experience with WSUS, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, and Intune.

- PowerShell scripting and automation experience.

- Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards.

- Familiarity with Acumatica ERP administration and support.
