The Entry-Level Sales Representative supports revenue growth by assisting in identifying new customers and maintaining relationships with existing clients. This role focuses on learning core sales skills, supporting client interactions, and contributing to team sales goals. The position will primarily support opportunities in the Mining sector, with additional exposure to Oil & Gas and Power Generation markets.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Assist in identifying potential customers through research, networking, and outreach efforts.

- Support lead generation activities such as calls, emails, virtual meetings, and trade show participation.

- Help qualify leads and maintain an organized sales pipeline.

- Support the preparation and delivery of product or service presentations.

- Learn to effectively communicate product features and benefits to prospective customers.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers under team guidance.

- Learn to understand customer needs and assist in providing appropriate solutions.

- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and escalate concerns when needed.

- Assist senior sales team members with preparing proposals, quotes, and contracts.

- Support the sales process, including basic negotiation tasks and order follow-up.

- Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets.

- Develop an understanding of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.

- Continuously learn product and service knowledge to support customer interactions.

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.

- Assist in preparing sales reports and tracking progress toward goals.


Education and Experience:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

- Strong interest in sales, business development, or customer service.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to learn sales techniques and negotiation skills.

- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (training provided for CRM systems).

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Willingness to travel as needed.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Operates in a professional and/or business casual office environment.

- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers/scanners, and smartphones.

- Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

- Ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.

- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

- Must be able to adhere to process protocol

- Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty striving for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication.
