About the Role

As the Sales Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing operations on a day-to-day basis, and ensure that the branch is operating safely and effectively so that sales are optimized and customers are satisfied.

What You'll Do:

- Hire, manage and support a sales team (inside and outside), customer service, warehouse staff, and operations personnel

- Manage and be responsible for a P&L

- Develop sales forecasts with your team and meet sales and gross profit targets

- Grow branch revenue by increasing sales to existing customers and penetrating new market.

- Manage the performance of employees

- Build and manage vendor relationships

- Attend all Sales Meetings

- Represent Turtle at all customer events

- Manage sales accounts

What You'll Bring

- Strong leadership and organizational skills.

- Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive decisions with influence.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Experience with at least one sales area: Industrial, OEM, Automation, Lighting, Power Distribution, Commodities, Energy

- Minimum 3 years of electrical distribution sales experience.

- Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage customer expectations

- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have a current driver's license and good driving record.

- At least 3 years supervising staff, to include, hiring disciplining and terminating staff

- Independent thinker and learner

- Ability to multi-task while paying attention to detail

- Organized and ability to be flexible

- Drive to sell and motivate other sales staff to excel
