Regional Lead Dispatcher

Waste Pro is hiring a Dispatcher to coordinate daily operations, manage shifting priorities, and provide leadership and support in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating daily operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role requires strong dispatch experience, the ability to adapt quickly to changing operational needs, and proven leadership skills to train, mentor, and support team members.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery

- Monitor team performance and provide real-time guidance to maintain productivity and service standards

- Quickly identify and resolve operational issues, route changes, staffing challenges, and service disruptions

- Train, mentor, and support dispatch staff to promote continuous improvement and professional development

- Handle conflict resolution between drivers, dispatch staff, and operations as needed

- Communicate effectively with field personnel and management regarding operational updates and challenges

- Maintain composure and effectiveness in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment

- Demonstrate flexibility by adjusting plans and traveling as needed to support operational requirements

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum of 2 years of dispatch experience required

- Waste industry experience preferred, but not required

- Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor teams

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities

- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

- Willingness to travel and adjust schedules as operational needs require

- Normal setting for this job is: office Will be willing to travel to multiple divisions.
