Flowmax Waste Management Solutions Ltd. is a privately owned and operated company providing mobile wastewater treatment and sewer containment services to camp, drilling rigs, and other remote locations. Through teamwork, safety, integrity, and unmatched enthusiasm for all things wastewater, Flowmax continues to expand across Western Canada. We are currently seeking a full-time Dispatcher for our Whitecourt Branch.
The Dispatcher will be responsible for the dispatching appropriate personnel and equipment to the job site. The Dispatcher will be responsible for troubleshooting operational issues over the phone, problem solving, multitasking, and dealing with customer concerns. This is ideal position for an organized, enthusiastic individual who has the ability to work collaboratively with both employees and customers.
- Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, equipment, service vehicles, to deliver freight of services, to a wide range of customers and sites.
- Effectively analyzing needs and resources to optimize efficiency in a cost-effective manner
- Providing support in a fast-paced environment and assisting in completing operational and data entry tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicating with employees and customers to ensure equipment receiving and deliveries are properly executed
- Troubleshooting, addressing and dealing with customer concerns, needs, and requirements via. phone
- Updating and maintaining RTMS, Mecha, billing processes, yard maps, and rental agreements
- Communicating with various departments, employees and customers to ensure operations are supported adequately and efficiently
- Building and creating delivery tickets, ensuring rebillable items are captured, and work orders are being executed
- Establishing long-term efficiency and success, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering on service agreements
- Completing necessary paperwork, including preparing and distributing work schedules, scheduling, and planning sheets, daily scheduling and planning report to the Branch Manager
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills
- Ability to be customer-focused, troubleshoot, and resolve conflicts in an inclusive, professional, and transparent manner
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of quick turnaround information
- Ability to be an effective team player, work collaboratively, and foster a positive company culture
- Ability to exercise good judgment, be proactive and adaptable
- Industry experience and knowledge of Flowmax equipment and its application to the drilling process
- Willingness to be on call and work in the shop/field as required
In the interest of employee safety and a safe work environment, employment at Flowmax is subject to a negative drug and alcohol test and clean driver’s abstract. Valid H2S Alive and First Aid certificates are also considered pre-requisites to employment at Flowmax.
