We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Commercial Manager to lead our sales and business development efforts across multiple territories. This role is vital in driving growth, strengthening client relationships, and expanding market presence. - Responsible for the business growth within your region
- Manage the Sales team’s training, performance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure branch efficiency
- Manage local product line inventory levels and ensure enough inventory is stocked at each location
- Partner with the Customer Service Manager to ensure the CSR team is supporting the Account Managers within your region
- Partner with the Human Resources department regarding staffing needs, compensation structure and employee evaluations for your direct reports
- Create and enforce an aligned Sales Strategy for your region that will facilitate coordination and cooperation with the Houston office
- Coordinate with Supply Chain Manager the inventory levels at the region and monitor ROP (reorder points)
- Coordinate with the Director of Sales on pricing strategy
- Continue all Account Management duties, including quoting, selling, and customer relationship management
- Help liaise between the Sales & Operations departments regarding material and delivery requirements
- Implement a schedule for the Sales team to regularly visit with customers to improve those relationships
- Coordinate with accounting department on intercompany transfer pricing and oversee that the sales team at your branch is adhering to set transfer pricing guidelines
- Support accounting team with billing and collections activities.
- Manage the workload and account allocation for the Sales staff as needed
- Improve efficiency by reducing costs and improving processes
- Monitor and report Sales KPI’s to management weekly
- Preservation of records (sales, orders, services, etc.)
- Maintain real-time accuracy as needed in the PTO calendar & allowable PTO days
- Approve all hourly timesheet records of staff in your care
- Comply with all HSE, QMS, and corporate policies at Tube Supply
- B.S or B.A. degree in a business-related field
- MBA preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with reading and understanding Mill Test Reports and Customer Specifications
