GC Custom Metal Fabrication is a family owned & operated sheet metal fabrication company based in Edmonton, AB. Starting in 1982, the goal of matching excellent customer service with high quality products has remained the focus. Since then our advanced capabilities have grown to include a variety of programmable CNC machines including laser-cutting, brake forming, waterjet cutting and more, in a 30,000 square foot production facility. Over the past 40 years, this approach has helped us build strong customer relationships, referrals and repeat clients.
We have a need for a driven, reliable Receptionist/Administrative assistant.

As an important member of our team, you, are responsible reception via phone, walk-in, and email inquiries, receiving payment via POS system. General office duties such as making coffee, basic office/lunchroom upkeep, ordering supplies, posting memos, labeling and filing work orders. Administrative duties such as, working with Quick Books, our ERP system, collecting and recording payments.
- 3-5 Years' experience in a reception role
- 1-3 Years' experience in an office administration role
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Quick Books an asset
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and positive attitude. Ability to deal effectively a variety of personalities;
- High degree of maturity and conscientious attitude;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in the use of the English language;
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and tasks and accomplish work in a time sensitive environment.
