Primary responsibility is to support the Quality department by ensuring documentation, reporting, and operational processes align with company Quality Assurance standards and client expectations. The Quality Coordinator assists with field report reviews, document preparation, internal communication, and resolution of quality-related issues. This role helps maintain accuracy in NDE documentation, supports audits and corrective actions, and contributes to efficient office operations by organizing records, tracking submissions, and assisting team members with day-to-day quality and administrative needs.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to clarify documentation requirements, quality expectations, and reporting needs.
- Prepare and update documents in accordance with company QA procedures and current client specifications.
- Coordinate with Field Technicians to ensure all required documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted to the Quality department within required timeframes.
- Review, audit, and process NDE reports; ensure accuracy before delivery to clients or internal leadership.
- Investigate report discrepancies or internal issues; escalate items requiring correction and track completion of fixes.
- Assist management in developing updated processes, reporting templates, training materials, and quality documentation.
- Support Technician training by preparing materials, updating training records, and monitoring completion of required modules.
- Respond to general information and documentation requests with timely, accurate, and complete responses.
- Contribute to departmental goals by completing assigned tasks, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and maintaining organized records.
- Review, analyze, and generate operational or quality-related reports as required by management.
- Associate’s degree preferred; 1–3 years of experience in quality, administrative coordination, document control, or operations support.
- Familiarity with NDE documentation, quality programs, or inspection workflows preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented, continuous-improvement environment.
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with professionalism.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Windows preferred.
Internal - Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most duties are performed from a seated position. Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate a computer keyboard at moderate skill level.
Internal – Frequent contact with various company departments, managers and employees.
