Purchasing Coordinator II

Position Overview

In this role, you will support procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials, components, and services. You’ll collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and the supply chain team to maintain inventory levels, resolve issues, and uphold compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Process purchase orders and maintain accurate records in Oracle

- Monitor order status, expedite deliveries, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.

- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, lead times, and quality requirements.

- Collaborate with finance on invoice matching and payment issues.

- Maintain compliance with purchasing policies and audit requirements.

- Prepare reports on purchasing metrics and supplier performance.

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

- 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain support.

- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP), Salesforce and MS Office Suite.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

- Knowledge of basic contract terms and vendor compliance.

- APICS or supply chain certification a plus.
