Purchasing Coordinator

Purchasing Coordinator Windsor, CO

Warbonnet Construction is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support company-wide operations from our Windsor, Colorado office.This position plays a key role in ensuring materials and services are ordered accurately, approved properly, and delivered on time across multiple projects and operating locations. The ideal candidate is organized, process-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase Order Management

- Create and issue purchase orders for projects across multiple locations

- Verify pricing, quantities, vendor information, and job cost coding

- Ensure proper approvals are obtained prior to releasing POs

- Maintain organized and accurate purchasing records

Vendor Coordination

- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery timelines

- Confirm order details and track fulfillment

- Assist with vendor setup and documentation as needed

Project Support

- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and operations personnel to understand purchasing needs

- Ensure purchases align with approved budgets and project scopes

- Track committed costs and support internal reporting as needed

Accounting Support

- Assist with invoice matching and PO reconciliation

- Identify discrepancies and coordinate resolution with vendors and accounting

- Maintain documentation to support internal controls and audits

Qualifications

- 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, accounting, or administrative experience preferred

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite (required)

- QuickBooks experience preferred

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to manage multiple requests across various projects

- Construction, oil & gas, or industrial industry experience preferred

Pay: $24.00 per hour
