Position Description:

The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive proposals and estimates. This role involves reviewing project plans and specifications for Water/Wastewater control systems, supporting design-build estimating efforts, and identifying value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs and performance.

Qualifications:

- Minimum two years of experience estimating control systems in industrial spaces.

- Proven track record of strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, qualify opportunities, and deliver exceptional customer service.

- Strong understanding of Control Systems, materials, and installation methods.

- Ability to read and interpret bid drawings and specifications.

- Proficiency with government and federal bid cites

- Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills.

Essential Functions:

- Prepare detailed Control Systems cost estimates and proposals for plan-and-specification projects.

- Assist the Field Service team with estimating design-builds and layouts.

- Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to identify value and cost-saving solutions.

- Solicit, evaluate, and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing.

- Collaborate with Sales Managers and Field Service Managers during the preconstruction phase.

- Ensure estimates align with project scope, specifications, and local codes.

- Maintain organized estimating records and cost databases.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
