Project Estimator / Project Manager Position Overview

The Project Estimator/Project Manager will be responsible for estimating, planning, coordinating, and overseeing welding and fabrication projects from bid through completion. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in professional industrial environments.

Pay: $36–$50 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule: Full-time. In person / job site & shop based

Responsibilities:

- Prepare project estimates, bids, and jobs

- Review/create drawings

- Conduct site visits in industrial and manufacturing facilities to determine labor, material, and equipment needs

- Communicate professionally with customers

- Track project schedules, budgets, and change orders

- Coordinate with shop and field crews to ensure quality and timelines

- Maintain organized project documentation

Qualifications:

- Experience in welding, fabrication, piping, or industrial construction

- Ability to work independently and in team environments

- Strong organization and communication skills

- Proficient with basic computer software and Fusion 360
