Estimator / Project Manager

Metzfab Industries is a growing leader in sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing, delivering high-quality custom solutions for a wide range of industries. We specialize in laser cutting, forming, welding, and assembly.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager who can accurately quote jobs and manage projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Service (emails, phone calls. face to face meetings

- Review blueprints and RFQs to prepare accurate quotes

- Estimate costs for materials, labor, and production processes

- Coordinate with shop, engineering, and purchasing teams

- Manage timelines, budgets, and customer communication

- Track job progress and resolve any project-related issues

Qualifications

3+ years in estimating or project management in fabrication/manufacturing

Strong knowledge of sheet metal processes (laser, CNC punch, press brake, weld, etc.)

Ability to read technical drawings and CAD files

Proficient with ERP/MRP systems, Excel, and quoting software

Strong organizational and communication skills

Must be compute literate

-Experience with sheet metal/plate cutting/ bending/ fabrication etc...

Bonus Skills

- CAD experience in both 2D and 3D modeling (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

- Knowledge of lean or job shop environments

- Technical background or degree in manufacturing/fabrication

- Time management is essential

- Willing to learn new software's/ maching capabilities
