ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer with proven experience in mass production CNC programming. In this role, you’ll be responsible for programming and setting up 3 and 4 axis Bother Speedio mills that produce hundreds of thousands of parts a year. You’ll work closely with our manufacturing and engineering teams to produce processes that have efficient cycle times, stability and tight quality standards . This is a key hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a mass production environment and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Programming production 3 and 4 axis mill operations ( Autodesk Fusion preferred)
? Working with our manufacturing engineers on production tool selection and fixturing
strategies
? Creating SOP’s and setup sheets for operators to follow
? Reviewing existing production processes to gain efficiency and stability
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
? 5+ years of direct experience programming 3 and 4 axis high volume production parts? Thorough understanding of macro programming structure
? Deep understanding of machine kinematics and machining strategies
? High level of organization
? Willingness to contribute ideas and participate in continuous process improvement
? Strong communication and collaboration skills
? Ability to balance numerous projects simultaneously while driving progress and schedule
conformance.
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
? Experience producing parts in G10 or Carbon Fiber composite materials
? Experience producing parts in martensitic stainless and grade 5 titanium
? Experience with the Brother D00 and C00 control (R450, S500, S700, W1000)
? Fanuc robotic teach pendant programming
? Knowledge of Blum Z-Nano tool probe and TC52 spindle probe macros
? Ability to program Citizen swiss lathes
? Ignition SCADA programming
? Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
? Passion for blades, tools, or outdoor gear
