Job Title: CNC Machinist & Programmer

Type: Full Time (Mon-Thur 6:00am- 4:30pm plus required OT when available)

Job Description:

Martin Enclosures is seeking a CNC Machinist to Program and Operate our DMG Mori CNC Machine. Applicant will perform multiple duties in the machine shop including, programming, tool selection, part set-ups and operating a variety of machine shop equipment. Must be able to program, select tools, and operations. The applicant will set-up CNC equipment and verify part conformance to either blue prints or engineering models. Applicant will monitor the operation of CNC equipment, inspect parts using micrometers, calipers and surface plate inspection equipment and make necessary adjustments to offsets to maintain part quality throughout the run.

Job Requirements:

- 3 + years of Machine Milling Experience.

- Know how to read blue prints.

- Must have own tools.

- Must be organized.

Responsibilities and Duties

Job Responsibilities:

- Program CNC Equipment

- Operate CNC Milling Machines

- Create efficient CNC programs from engineering drawings and/or models using the software.

- Shop level knowledge of GD&T

- Able to select appropriate cutting tools for programmed operations

- Knowledge of proper speeds and feeds for cutting tools and materials being cut

- Able to set up CNC equipment using best shop practices

- Able to work independently with little supervision

- Knowledge of machine shop inspection tools

- Able to operate manual mills and lathes

- Setup and run standard Milling Machine.

- Read blueprints carefully.

- Programming from 3D models

- Ability to program 3D toolpaths

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 54 per week
