Powder Coater

Willis Manufacturing is a family owned business with over 20 years of success as a custom metal shop. We offer a variety of services ranging from CNC punching, bending, laser and waterjet cutting, to welding and more recently, powder coating.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Must be able to produce a high quality finished product at production levels

- Loading and unloading of supplies/parts (Heavy Lifting)

- Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools

- Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment such as lift platforms and paint sprayers.

- Package finished parts for transit, assist loading/unloading parts.

- Count/track parts coming and going from the shop as customers drop off and pickup orders.

Qualifications

- Previous electrostatic powder coating paint experience.

- Detail oriented

- People skills

- Quick learner

- Excellent communication skills and ability to track multiple orders.

- Able to lift up to 75 lbs, walk, stand, bend, twist/turn, work overhead, climb ladders as necessary.

- Forklift experience considered an asset

- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings an asset

Shift: 7:30am - 4:30pm M-F with occasional weekends.

- powder coating/painting: 1 year (required)
