The Powder Coat Technician works under the direction of the Production Manager to perform preparation, painting, and powder coating processes on various metal components. This position is crucial for ensuring all products meet high quality standards with cosmetically perfect finishes. The technician may also be responsible for repairing damaged parts and paint defects to maintain product excellence.
- Prep and coat various metal components, both from scratch and as a repair
- Maintain a high standard of quality for coated parts
- Verify correct masking of tolerance sensitive areas
- Work in a timely manner to complete products as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Problem-solving skills
- Basic reading and writing abilities

- Ability to maintain neat and organized work areas

- Paint or powder coating experience preferred, but not required
