Powder Coat Operator

Requirements:

1. Must be able to read a tape measure with precise accuracy

2. Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively

3. Available to work overtime, as needed

Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned

- Loading/Unloading parts from the conveyor

- Use a forklift to move skids/crates onto/off of the platform

- Load line wires into the appropriate fixtures/guides

- Keep track and verify piece counts for each skid/job

- Clean work area during machine downtime

- (Sweeping, garbage, wipe down machine; organize platform area, etc.)

- Clean the Powder Coat Booth during Color Changes and at the end of each day.

- Consistently strive for high production numbers while producing high quality/zero defect parts

- Follow all safety procedures and ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the work areas. Clean the platform and around the room at the end of each shift

- Collect painted hooks and put them on the carts to be burned off.

- Perform all necessary quality checks as directed by the Powder Coat Supervisor

- Maintain a neat and orderly workspace

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
