Freedom Solar Power is looking for an organized and detailed oriented Operations Scheduler to join our team. The Operations Scheduler is responsible for overseeing and managing the installation, site assessment, and electrician schedules for their respective regions, ensuring that all team schedules are set in the most efficient and productive manner. This role must have a solid understanding of the overall Freedom Solar Power operations process, strong communication and analytical skills and excellent project management skills.
- Managing the installation scheduling queue, ensuring that each crew is scheduled as efficiently as possible and in advance as much as possible. This also includes communicating with the Regional Operations Manager for the respective region to ensure that the schedules make sense given individual project details.
- Managing the site assessment scheduling queue, ensuring that site assessments are scheduled as quickly as possible when the projects have been passed to Intake. This also includes ensuring the site assessment schedule is as full as possible for the respective region and that it is the most efficient for each site assessor. This also includes communicating with individual site assessors when issues or problems arise.
- Confirming Electricians’ schedules once given dates by Regional Operations Managers.
- Managing the “On Hold” queue, and following up on projects with the appropriate parties that have been placed on hold.
- Scheduling all Utility shutdowns.
- Scheduling Deinstallations/Reinstallations, ensuring to communicate with the Service team.
- Managing the Re-roof queue, communicating with customers constantly to obtain information about the re-roof schedule.
- Communicating with customers directly when needed regarding their site assessment, installation date, or service work.

- Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Must have Computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite. (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of all federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Able to thrive in a heavy multitasking environment.
- Able to pass background and security screenings.
- Desire to continuously learn and improve.
