The Marketing Supervisor, Americas Events, leads the development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across SPE’s Americas event portfolio. With responsibility for achieving registration targets, generating leads to support the sales team, and increasing member awareness of SPE’s events, this role plays a key role in driving the growth and success of SPE’s Americas events.
Balancing strategy, innovation, and creativity, the Marketing Supervisor will ensure campaigns are data-driven, results-focused, and aligned with event objectives. They will provide leadership and guidance to the Marketing Coordinator, oversee vendor and budget management, and collaborate with global marketing colleagues to deliver impactful campaigns that enhance visibility, engagement, and revenue.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and creativity to produce marketing assets that align with SPE’s global brand standards.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE IN THIS ROLE
- Lead and oversee the delivery of integrated event marketing campaigns for the Americas events portfolio within agreed KPIs and budget.
- Oversee the Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) multi-channel marketing campaign to generate awareness, engagement, and revenue.
- Create new event websites in the CMS system and regularly update existing websites with content and SEO enhancements, including meta titles and descriptions.
- Develop event marketing graphics in Canva using SPE’s global templates, maintaining brand consistency.
- Work alongside the Digital Marketing team to create value-led, personalized copy that drives traffic, engagement, and awareness for event marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with external vendors to manage Google Ads and paid social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with event objectives and measurable ROI.
- Write compelling email copy and design email campaigns in Marketo to generate awareness and drive registration and revenue.
- Guide the development of sponsorship and exhibition marketing collateral, including brochures and sales materials.
- Repurpose content, optimize SEO, and leverage testimonials, case studies, and video to promote events.
- Manage the production and delivery of conference programs, including working with design agencies and managing sponsor advertisements.
- Track and report on campaign performance, registrations, and revenue contribution, using GA4 and other analytics tools to provide insights and recommendations.
- Oversee Monday.com boards for Americas event campaigns, ensuring workflows are tracked, updated, and delivered to deadlines.
- Identify key event target audiences using the Budget and Audience Allocation Model and create value-led event marketing campaigns.
- Manage the event marketing budgets, including updating forecasts, reconciling expenses, and overseeing credit card expenditure.
- Build excellent relationships with event project teams and proactively communicate marketing progress and milestones.
- Line-manage the Marketing Coordinator, Americas Events, providing day-to-day guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree with 4–6 years of experience in marketing, communications, or PR (or a related role).
- Proven ability to plan and deliver multi-channel event marketing campaigns, including email, social media, web, PPC, and paid media.
- Experience overseeing the creation and updating of event websites using a CMS, with knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in Marketo (or similar email automation tools) for campaign management and copy development.
- Strong experience with Canva (or similar design platforms) to support and review event graphics and collateral.
- Demonstrated success in working with external vendors to manage Google Ads, remarketing, and paid social media campaigns.
- Ability to interpret analytics (GA4 or similar) to track campaign performance, report results, and guide optimization.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills with experience tailoring messaging to different audiences.

- Line management or supervisory experience, with the ability to mentor and guide a Marketing Coordinator.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple event campaigns while meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Creativity to produce marketing assets that align with SPE’s global brand standards.
