Machinist/Fabricator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain various machining equipment to produce precision parts according to specifications. Duties

- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other machining tools to produce metal or plastic components.

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate production.

- Measure finished parts using precision instruments to verify conformance with specifications.

- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while adhering to quality standards.

- Document production activities and report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Skills

- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a solid understanding of machining processes.

- Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management and safety protocols.

- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical drawings and use precision measurement tools.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently while following all safety guidelines.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting. This position is integral to maintaining high-quality production standards within our facility, requiring dedication, technical skill, and a proactive approach to safety and efficiency.

Minimum 5 years experience working in a steel fabricating shop strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
