Core Functions

- Fabricate and assemble steel components per shop drawings, specifications, and quality standards

- Verify fit-up, alignment, and workmanship to ensure dimensional accuracy

- Operate fabrication equipment and tools (e.g., welders, CNC drills) and report issues as needed

- Safely handle materials using cranes/hoists while following all safety policies and PPE requirements

- Maintain a clean, organized work area to support safe and efficient operations (6S)

- Follow procedures and support Quality Control to meet inspection and compliance requirements

- Read and interpret shop drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions

- Perform welding per approved WPS when trained/certified

- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively to meet production schedules and goals

Required Skills and Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent work experience

- Reliable attendance and dependability required

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Ability to accurately read and use a standard tape measure

- Experience in construction, fabrication, material handling, or manual labor is a plus (not required)

The Bridge Fabricator plays a key role in building high-quality steel bridge components in a shop environment. This position involves hands-on fabrication, assembly, and teamwork to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient production. Ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, learning a skilled trade, and being part of a team that builds something meaningful. We are currently hiring for all shifts, Day Shift: Monday-Friday; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Night Shift: Monday-Friday; 3:15 PM - 11:45 PM;
