Machinist

We are a well-established natural gas compressor machine shop looking for a Machinist to join our team. This role supports the repair, rebuild, and manufacturing of compressor components used in the natural gas industry. Responsibilities

- Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machines (lathes, mills, boring mills, grinders)

- Machine parts for natural gas compressors, engines, and related equipment

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings

- Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools

- Perform repairs, rework, and custom machining to tight tolerances

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

- Work closely with supervisors and other machinists to meet production schedules

Qualifications

- 2nd or 3rd year Machining Apprenticeship OR

- Journeyman machinist

- Strong knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and materials
