Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Loss Prevention Specialist/Hotel Security professional to safeguard our property, guests, and staff. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring security systems, conducting investigations, and managing incidents to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches. Your energetic approach and keen eye for detail will ensure a safe and secure environment while upholding the highest standards of guest service and safety.

Responsibilities

- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure the safety of guests and staff.

- Conduct investigations related to theft, vandalism, or other security incidents on hotel premises.

- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents and assist in legal proceedings.

- Perform regular security patrols of the property to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities.

- Write detailed incident reports documenting observations, actions taken, and outcomes for future reference.

- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes while maintaining safety protocols.

- Enforce hotel policies related to loss prevention, guest safety, and property protection with confidence and clarity.

Requirements

- Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or loss prevention is highly desirable.

- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and experience in criminal investigation techniques.

- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to document incidents accurately and comprehensively.

- Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.

- Familiarity with security procedures, conflict management strategies, and emergency response protocols.

- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.85 per hour
